Basketball Uniforms

2017-18 Season

2016-17 Season

Auburn tweaked the throwback design from the previous season, updating to Under Armour's newest template.
When conference play began in late December against Georgia, Auburn broke out a new alternate uniform,
the first in program history to have "TIGERS" across the chest. This season also marked the debut of
the SEC Graduate patch on the basketball uniforms.

2015-16 Season

Replacing the previous alternate uniforms that only saw half a season, Auburn chose to throwback to the Auburn
teams of the 1980s, specifically the teams of current associate head coach Chuck Person. The SEC
patch is the same patch worn by the football team - blue circle, orange outline. The old
patch worn for many years was blue with a white outline.

2014-15 Season

Tiger Stripe "Bracket" alternate uniforms were worn during the 2014-15 season. They were worn the entire
conference season except for the first game against Vanderbilt and later against Ole Miss. A
memorial  ribbon was added for Anthony Mason, which was added in March at Texas A&M.
The ribbon was worn during the remainder of the season.
Northwestern Stripe uniforms were worn during the part of the 2014-15 season. They were worn during the
entire non-conference season, the opening conference game against Vanderbilt, and the
All Auburn All Orange game against Ole Miss.

2013-14 Season

The Northwestern Stripe uniforms were worn throughout the entire 2013-14 season.

2012-13 Season

The 2012-13 season saw the introduction of the new Northwestern Striped uniforms. Auburn's
traditional Northwestern Stripes don the left shoulder and right shorts leg of the new uniforms.
The new Under Armour template features a squared-off V-neck.

2011-12 Season

The 2011-12 season would end up being the final year for the "basketball stripe" uniforms.
2010-11 Season

Tony Barbee's first season in the newly opened Auburn Arena featured a single senior on the team, walk-on
Doug Merrell. A NCAA official patch was added to the jersey and pants. The NCAA attempted
to make these patches mandatory, but failed to do so. Auburn was one of the very few
teams to follow through with this proposed change.
2009-10 Season

The final season played in Beard-Eaves Memorial Colosseum and the Jeff Lebo era saw the addition of the new uniforms. This new Under Armour design featured unique short stripes that seemingly represent the seams on a basketball.

2008-09 Season

Virgil Starks, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Support Services, passed
away on November 9, 2008. The basketball team wore a VS patch beginning with the
game against Mercer on November 19th and through the end of the season.

2007-08 Season

The 2007-08 season was the SEC's 75th Anniversary, and all athletic teams sported
the Anniversary patch throughout the season.

2006-07 Season

The first uniform set under the newly signed Under Armour contract lacked Under Armour logos on the jerseys.

2005-06 Season

The final season of the Russell Athletics contract coincided with the 100th year anniversary of
Auburn basketball. The team wore a special 100th Anniversary patch to commemorate the milestone.

The 80th season of SEC Basketball resulted in a conference-wide throwback series, with Auburn wearing
the uniform design of the 1980s, the Charles Barkley era. All teams wore a special SEC patch on the
throwbacks to commemorate the season. Auburn wore a black memorial band in the SEC Tournament
to honor the passing of former letterman Frank Fubose, who passed away in late January.

2004-05 Season

The 2004-05 season saw Auburn adopt a Copperplate font used across the athletic department. These
basketball uniforms were the first uniforms to wear a straight Copperplate numeral font.
Today's athletic teams wear a modified sans-serif Copperplate Font.
