Game 7 Uniform Matchup

I'm thinking about doing something new for this blog. Adding a uniform matchup post for each game, posting what the possible combinations or the confirmed uniform combo for the weekend will be. For the first installment of this series, I will feature Auburn vs. Texas A&M.

I'm not into doing the stats of a matchup, but this will be the fourth overall game between Auburn and Texas A&M. TAMU leads the series 3-0. The game has never been played in College Station.

As studied in this post, if Auburn some how does not wear white, it will be a new record for wearing white for the first time in the season so late. However, I highly doubt that to happen. Expect to see the Tigers trot out in their classic all white look.

For the Aggies of Texas A&M, there are some looks they can with. They have three helmets, only two of which have been worn this year- a matte maroon and a matte white lid. They have a matte black with maroon trim helmet they wore last year, so who knows if we'll see it this year. As for the tops, same as the lids- white, maroon, black. Maroon jerseys would be the safest bet of the weekend to make. Pants are the same as the above, with three colors. I wouldn't expect black anything for this weekend. TAMU wore white lids and pants paired with the maroon tops versus Alabama, and they haven't done that again since.

My best guess would be to expect maroon helmets and jerseys, and white pants. Which I think is a gorgeous look. I would personally love to see them come out with a maroon-white-maroon combo, so Auburn could wear white-blue-white and break their record, but that's just personal reasons...

This is my bet for what will be worn this weekend. I tweeted the Texas A&M equipment page to find out what they have planned. If I get a reply, and when they post something, I will update this post, either in here or in a new post.
